Thanks for these Carolyn! I see I have synced 3 of the freebies so far, and will go back and listen to the Hangout too! ;-)

Caroline, These forms are wonderful. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to add any information. The forms act like they are locked. I've tried in the web version and the desktop version. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

Laurie,

You have to copy and paste the forms to a new note to use. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear. At the time of the Hangout On Air, there was not an easy way to make note templates that could just be used outright.

Thank you so much for watching and reading! I really appreciate it. Please let me know if you have any more problems. =)

Your Evernote presentation is well thought out and most valuable. During your presentation, you mentioned a "database software" several times. Is there a presentation discussing your process for creating a database software? My "hunting and gathering" is out of control.

Hi Linda!

Thank you very much for your kind words. I use Rootsmagic for my database software. They have a free version you can take for a "test drive." Other database software companies to consider are: FamilyTreeMaker, Legacy, and Heredis.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I don't understand what to do once I get to the reference page you gave. Do I download it or save it somehow so I can include your files in my desktop Evernote? Thanks for you help!

Hi Kim,

You can just copy and paste the information from my note to a new note you create in your Evernote.

Please let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
~C

I am sure that the answer to this is obvious, but I can't figure it out. How do you get documents you have saved out of Evernote into other software on your computer? I can copy and paste, but it comes out with an Evernote extension which has to be opened from Evernote and I want it opened by my Mac software to store in iCloud after I have analyzed it.
