  • 4000 Irish will abstracts are now available on SoG. {Holla. I'm seriously thinking of joining now just for this.}
  • On his British Genes Blog, Chris reports Irish Gleanings has added 800 US Consulate correspondence abstracts to its site.
  • Anyone researching this weekend? *snort* Busy-as-a-bee Ancestry.com has added even more indexed records and images to its collections yesterday and today.
  • On the Mocavo Blog, Michael Leclerc gives us some great reasons why if we have "...early-seventeenth century ancestors in New England," we should be using The Great Migration Newsletter as a research resource. 
  • Have Eastern European ancestors? You need to check into the upcoming SLIG's "Researching Eastern European" course. UGA's website tells us how to register and more about the course.
  • If you use Mailchimp for newsletters AND you have an iPad, you'll be pleased to know Mailchimp now has an iPad editor app so we can make and send newsletters on-the-go. {Yes!!!!! Can you tell I'm happy about this?!?}
  • Joe on appadvice.com informs us that iAnnotate for iPad is only $1.99 until 1PM EST TODAY. Usually it's $9.99. {I bought it for $9.99. *pouts*}
  • For family historians and genealogists: Family Tree University's Virtual Conference starts this morning and goes through Sunday. {Get your education on.}
  • Brittany on SlashGear.com tells us Evernote Web Clipper has an updated version for the Chrome Browser. Some goodies on this version. Click through to watch a quick video showcasing the update.
  • Speaking of Evernote <grin>, I'll be giving a virtual presentation on Evernote for Genealogy Professionals to the Northern and Southern Chapters of the Association of Professional Genealogists this Saturday evening {tomorrow}.
