5 #Genealogy Things You Need to Know This Morning, Sunday, 10 Nov 2013, via 4YourFamilyStory.com. #needtoknowGenealogy Need to Know, Sun, 10 Nov 2013
  • Dear Myrtle gives us this week's upcoming genealogy-related webinars, chats, and hangouts.
  • On Genealogy Canada, Elizabeth informs us of a new iPad app for Remembrance Day that helps us to remember the fallen in Canada.
  • For those using Evernote to manage their genealogy {or any other} tasks, Evernote suggests the Evernote app, Gneo. {Not using Evernote for Genealogy? See if it's your cup of tea with my video, Using Evernote to Organize Your Genealogy.}
  • Have Milwaukee County, Wisconsin ancestors? Robin Foster gives us some research resources for Milwaukee County.
  • And USGenWeb volunteer contributors uploaded 127 files to various counties in the following U.S. states: Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia. Did they add something you've been needing for your research?

Have you tried this research resource?
Were your ancestors Episcopalian? The online Archives of the Episcopal Church gives some guidance on finding Episcopalian church records for your ancestors. The most important thing to remember is that records in the Episcopal Church are maintained and archived at the individual church, or parish, level. Therefore, their Parish Finder database is handy for finding current parishes in a particular location. Their suggestions for finding records of no-longer-existing parishes are quite helpful as well. Further, they give guidance on finding clergy biography records, mission records, colonial records, etc. So be sure to explore all of their suggestions.
